Diet coke contains aspartame which is a staller to some people. It is best to try to wean yourself off of it for a two week induction and then afterwards you can test it and see if aspartame stalls you or not.

Diet rite does not contain aspartame and uses liquid splenda which may be a better choice for you.

Good luck!

Hi there...I'm no expert and I certainly take everyone's advice here seriously, but just wanted to share with you that I just finished my two week induction and drank diet pepsi the whole while....maybe two glasses per day and still managed to lose 11 lbs. So I think it is different for everybody. Good luck to you!

King... I drink 2 or 3 diet sodas a day and it hasn't seemed to cause me any problems. I think there are a small percentage of people that have metobolic reactions to the caffiene or the artificial sweetener. Try it, but if your weight loss is not as significant as you want, then that would be a good indicator you are one of those people... mad
