Default leg cramps

I have been on the atkins diet for 2 months now. I love it and losing weight! My one problem has been leg cramps, mostly at night. This morning I got up, felt great, but later was standing in my kitchen talking to my sister when suddenly I felt a strange sensation in my lower legs followed quickly by them just totally giving out. It was like I had no legs and was just collapsing to the floor. It was both strange and alarming but since then I've been ok although my legs have been sore and felt weak. Has anyone else experienced this? Have any ideas about it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

My husband and I had leg cramps at night also. We started taking potassium and calcium supplements with our multivitamin. This seemed to take care of the problem. Hope it helps!

This sounds weird, but I promise I'm serious...pickle juice! Probably the salt and stuff, but although I laughed my butt off when I was told this, I was desperate!! A couple of spoonfuls before bed, and it was MUCH better! Just to be safe, I ate the pickle too, lol!

Default leg cramps

I had problems with leg cramps and I began taking One a Day Weight Management vitamins and making sure I was drinking more than enough water and they have disappeared.

I had the same problem and I started taking a calcium supplement and I haven't had any cramps since.
