Default anyone else dizzy?

I have been loosing pretty good on this wol and that I am MORE than happy with (besides the fact the the lb's could not come off fast enough) One negative thing I've noticed is I get dizzy spells however, which I never had before this wol. I have a buddy who said he had to quit because of the same thing except his got progressivly worse until he said he passed out after standing out of his chair one day. Can anyone exsplain this phenomenom?

For some carb withdrawal and sometimes caffeine withdrawal lowers your blood sugar so you feel dizzy.

For me it was day 6 and then it was like a fog lifted and I have felt great ever since.

Hmm, I sometimes feel mildly dizzy as well. It was at its worst during the first several days of induction. But now that I'm on day 10, I rarely if ever have mild dizziness...

I had read before that it is due to too low of carbs. The first time I did Atkins I got some severe spells while driving and had to pull over ... I was eating 10 carbs or less. But I was still drinking caffiene and not drinking enough water as well.

Now ... eating at least 20, 100 oz water, no caffiene ... no spells at all.

Yup, blood sugar too low. I have had that happen before and each time I thought about what I had to eat that day and everytime my carbs were low.

Make sure you are drinking enough, low blood pressure can cause dizziness too. The first weeks of induction rid the body of lots of water and can effect blood volume.

I agree with everyone Low Blood Sugar or Low Blood Pressure can cause dizziness.

I was also dizzy at first and low energy. I started to take my vitamins and supplements, and the dizziness went away and I gained more energy!! I do not know if that was the reason or not, but you may want to review your vitamins and supplements.

Oh by the way could the dizziness be heat related (out in the sun for too long)?

You have lost 40 lbs so far!!!! That is fantastic!!!! Keep up the great work!!
