Ok gang, need some help here.

I just paid a forturne for some low carb items at GNC.

Keto Oat Meal, Keto Frosted Flakes ceral and a non Atkins brand mint choc. bar.

These items I pitched out as they were just terrible!!!!!!

The Atkins brand choc bars or ok if you only eat 1/3 or 1/2 at a time. the Keto powered milk works very well in low fat pudding!!!!

I like the O so Lo rolls, they are pretty good.

I had some of the Atkins folks here recomment the Keto products and I hhave found most most of them are pure nasty!!!!

Maybe I should try the flavored oat meal, it may taste better than the standard.

Any suggestions on GOOD low carb products.

thanks
Jim S.

Hi Jim. Have you checked out the low carb product sub-forum on here? It will give you some feedback on different items. I really haven't tried anything except Atkins products. We like some of them quite well. The only thing we have just hated was the bar-b-que sauce and it found its way to the trash can. However I heard someone else say they liked it so I guess it depends on the person. My DH loves the banana nut muffin mix and the brownie mix and I use the Atkins bake mix in different things. Haven't tried the products you mentioned though. They are all expensive and it's terrible to spend all that money and find it stinks. Wish I could be more help.

I've tried the Keto brand banana nut oatmeal. It was absolutely horrible. I felt so guilty throwing the can in the trash but there was no way I could eat it.

Hi Tere

I am with you, I have pitched a few of their products, money down the drain. I sure wish people would be more honest about some of these low carb products.

Thanks for your reply

Jim

One of the thigns I have found is don't throw the stuff away. There were some of the Atkins bars that I had bought back in Jan and thought were nasty. But after 6 months on low carb they didn't taste so bad. Your taste buds will change over time especially if you don't cheat very often with "real" sweets.
