Talking Atkins Banana Bread

Wow just wanted to say that this is real good. Just have to make sure to not have much. I can't believe it is ok to have. Has anyone tried any of his other products? I am too excited because I know I can stay on this WOL.

I too love the stuff, but to keep myself from eating to much, I make the muffins. Easier to controll the serving size that way. The orange cranberry is really good too

We tried Atkins sourdough bread mix -- and we really like it.

I bought several types of bread mixes (each a different brand and type) and so far, we like the Atkins best. I plan to order several more Atkins types, will definitely try the banana bread (I would imagine that banana oil would be virtually carb free, so maybe that's the flavoring rather than the starchy bananas???).

I am not a big fan of these processed fake foods, but I have tried them (one time only). I find the Banana Nut muffins almost inedible. I do, however, think the Brownies are good, but they are high in calories, carbs, and have maltitol, which kills my stomach. The Cornbread, imho, is very good, but also high in carbs and calories, and it contains flour.

I thought the banana bread was really good, esp warmed up with butter...but...3 days later, it was already MOLDY! I suggest freezing it, it doesn't keep well like regular bread!

I think I'm going to have to try is banana bread because I certainly miss my bananas! Does it have nuts in it? I don't like walnuts and will have to pick them out if it does.

Yes it does have walnuts although they appear to be small. My DH loves these and the brownies. I have not had them myself because I am one of the lucky ones that lost my sugar cravings so I am not tempted by them. I put them in a covered tupperware container and they stayed fresh for several days. My DH went to eat the last one tonight and it was molded though so maybe freezing would be a good option. They seem to be very moist.
