Default Difficult Day

Hi All,
I am new here, but did introduce myself in the intro forum. Just wanted to share my rough day, hope that is ok. I've been doing this for several weeks now, and today felt very weak, wanted to cave into some cravings! I think I had more carbs than I should have, feeling a little obsessive, which I don't think is good. I haven't had any cheating issues for a while, and though I didn't cheat, I think I had too many Russell Stover low carbs treats, but they just got a hold of me! I'm sure I'll be paying for it later, but I knew that when I ate them. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end for me!!! Trying to decide what I should eat tomorrow to keep me on track.

Any advice more than welcome.

Thanks for letting me share.

Maria, I'm glad you joined the forum. We all have those days. I am sure you have had them before. And see how far you have come. You are up to this. You are succeeding. Its o.k to tell the truth if you are feeling down. Then you can move on and pick yourself up with the help of those of us who empathize. It is not an easy task we have undertaken. Lets give ourselves credit for how far we have come.

Happy Low Carbing
Mary

Hi Maria, nice to meet you and welcome to the board. Hang in there you can do it, and we are all here to support you. Keep thinking of the 17 pounds you have lost, and shoot for 18.

By the way where in northern MI are you? I am in the Upper Peninsula, in Escanaba. Ever heard of it?? I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

Good luck, and keep up the good work you are doing a good job.

hello Maria!

Well, believe it or not, I did the same thing! I ran to the store for something this morning and grabbed the Russell Stovers on impulse. I ate the whole bag.

I came online to get some inspiration. I am NOT going to buy any more. I know if there is candy in the house, I am going to eat it. It makes me mad because I didnt even enjoy it that much.

~grin~ tomorrow is another day. Let's both do better!

Congratulations on your loss so far!

Thanks for the words of support, today was better, though I did have the 5 serving portion of the Russell Stover's so far. But I will probably stop buying them until I go down another size, then try them again, I do have to have chocolate. If I couldn't, I couldn't stay on this diet!

I am in Traverse City, but went to Fraser High School and our football team played Escanaba at the Silver dome in 1983!

Thanks again!
