I usually keep my carb level in the 20-25 range - if I increase it more than that I start craving carby things.

I'm about like Atriana. Was on Atkins for a year and stayed between 20-25 carbs. If I get higher I start to crave carbs, especially sweets. Then I'd begin to cheat...more and more and more.

I think keeping to 20-25 c. per day is easy. And you can always have a "high" carb day for a treat and still not fall off the wagon.

I have stayed around induction level carbs since I started, almost a year ago. I have varied it a little, periodically; I believe that shaking up the body with occassional changes in diet and exercise is a good thing.

I'm still in induction levels 9 months after starting! It is working for me, I really don't need more carbs and I don't have a steady rate of loss it changes weekly so I am a little scared to up my carbs and make my loss slower.

I plan on staying on induction for a long time. Not only does it help with the weight but it also helps me with this WOL. My Dr watches me weekly since he thought this would be the perfect lifestyle for me!

With me I must stay on induction to lose at all. And even at induction levels I lose so slowly that I have to exercise and watch calories. This is not a 'fast' way to lose weight, and reading DANDR tells me that if you want to lose consitently and not be disappointed you should stay in induction. Of course I introduced nuts and cottage cheese into my diet, staying at 20 a day and losing slower than ever but still losing.

I have been on induction since May 29th - so far so good. I plan to stay on for a while longer as I don't seem to be suffering at all!! On the odd occasion I do go slightly over 20 carbs (never higher than 25) and this seems to work.

My weight loss has slowed down to about a pound a week, but I am not complaining...this is fine with me. I will do this for as long as it takes and I am in no rush.

I plan to move to OWL once I become bored and want to add some more veggies, fruit or nuts. I plan to stay on each 5 carb "rung" for a few weeks to ensure I am still doing okay and to determine if I am sensitive to anything.

I am also looking forward to my doctor's checkup in October!!!

I've been on induction since I started this diet, over a year ago...however, I did take a break from LCing over the Christmas holidays, and here and there I let myself take days off... I find that since I allowed myself the break in the winter, it has been harder and harder to stick with the induction level of 20g, but if I allow myself more, I find it difficult to stop eating carbs. It really is an addiction for me, and I plan to stick with this WOE for the rest of my life.

Default supplements and fat fast

Atkins book has hints about stalls, it is chapter 20 in the New Diet Revolution book. Reading about the FAT FAST or supplements may help?

Best wishes!

I've been on induction for 4 weeks. I'm beginning week 5 still on induction...No changes here. I've only lost 5lbs. So hopefully it will begin to pick up.

Good Luck to you!
