Thumbs up Hello in LC Land...I'm new to this

I've discovered I'm a Carb Addict! I'm thrilled with this new WOE but I'm in the last days of induction and all of a sudden I'm experiencing killer mood swings HELP!

Hello Delta Lady,
We are all carb addicts...That is why we are here, so you are not alone. I lost my carb craving around my second week of induction. Mood swings....like...get your own food....go get your own stuff, you have 2 feet don't you...feeling like you are the floor and everyone is walking all over you...that kind of mood swings? If so, I guess for me it was normal, but I got over it, after my body adjusted to not having the high carb foods. It will pass.

Hi Delta. My name is Lori and I'm a carb addict. Welcome to the forum! Induction is hard for most of us but it will get better. Me, I experienced my worst part the first week of induction but most people go through some sort of carb withdrawal at some point during induction. Just hang in there and visit us here often for support and info. This is a great site that has been mucho help to me. Good luck!
Lori

Thanks Lori and Fat...I'm still losing about a lb. a day (YEAH!) so that is the only thing that makes it bearable. I'm a hysterectomy patient and take a hormone which I'm not ready at this point to give up. I'm too afraid of the mood swings if I don't take it and I'm having them anyway!! Do you think this is just sugar withdrawal? I had a chronic headache the first two days of induction and then thought when that went away I was over the withdrawals. I'M GLAD TO BE WITHDRAWING FROM SUGAR!! But I hate depression!!
