Heya Im kinda new to this forum. Ive been on the Atkins diet for about 7 weeks now. Ive lost 20lbs and feeling so mich better for it. This coming Friday, I am going out for a meal for the first time since ive been on the diet. I am incredibly nervous as I am unsure what i am allowed to eat. its to an Indian resteraunt, anyone got any ideas or what i can eat that wont make me feel so guilty or undo all my food work?
i really appreciate any feedback

indian restaurants have quite a bit one can eat low carbing. There are many saucy meat dishes and vegetarians dishes that use low carb veggies just read the item description and do not eat any rice. The vegetarian dishes use this cheese called paneer cheese and a dish that included that would also be a good choice.

Non saucy dishes can include tandoori chicken which is chicken baked with spices which is also very low carb and is often served with low carb veggies.

Good luck I'm sure you will be just fine!

Steakhouses - steak, get a good side veggie like asparagus, skip the potatoes

Seafood - avoid breaded or fried (which is probably breaded). Fish, lobster, butter sauce - yumm
