Question Is This A No NO or how to count the carbs?

Last night I made my kids favorite meal "Beef and Noodles". Oh course I eat the beef and 2 small peices of carrots. Skipped those white carb filled noodles . But had about one third cup of the broth. I used beef broth and water with a little seasoning when cooking the meat then added the noodles at the end.

My question is - How bad was that broth I drank?

I also had one whole onion in with it all - would the carb leave the onion and enter the broth?

Do Carbs Migrate? lol

Just wondering what you all felt. Thanks

Well, the starch from the noodles probably was in the broth...carrots for some are problems...the amount you ate may or may not be. How many carbs a day do you normally eat? If 20, than this may be a problem.

How are you today? In ketosis? Are you hungrier than normal - - this could be a sign you fell out of ketosis and thus the starch could have knocked you out.

Onions have a higher sugar (natural) content and are fairly high in carbs but unless you ate them, I don't think lots of those carbs were in the broth...some...but not most.

Either way...drink lots of water today...flush out your system and you should be "back to normal" within 24-48 hours.
