Default That sounds great!

But then I'd have to figure out a reasonable goal for Labor Day.

I've just restarted induction after about a month of not eating too well. I am currently at 162 or so and will be happy to dip below 160! I've been fairly modest with my expectations. 155 would thrill me... 150 would make me just plain excited!

But Labor day is far enough away and I'm doing good... so lets hope for 150 lbs by Labor day. Sounds fair?

such fun.. and good luck!
Nan

Hi all! Maddiebehy, I think I joined a day or two before you. I would love a challenge. Something to get my butt in gear. I have been stalled since induction, which started, oh July 7 or so. I will put in my goal of 170 by Labor Day.

Maybe with this added motivation, I will stick to it!!! Anyway, I am hoping something will work because I am sick to death of this stall!

~HOPE~

I'm new as well, maddiebehy
I would like to join.
MsBrisby, I started induction 3 weeks ago and I've stalled as well. The first week I lost 4lbs, and that's been it. I wanted to lose 20lbs by Labor day, but that might not happen. So I'll make a more realistic goal and say 154.

Got to Keep the Faith!!!!!

I am new also. I started on July 4th. The biggest meat eating day of the year (at least in my family). I thought it was a funny touch. I have stalled after my induction...stuck at 171; I'll make my bet 165. That's two pounds a week.

I started on 21 July. I would love to join the challenge - give myself some incentive.

I haven't weighed myself yet because I hate scales, but broke down and bought one today (though I haven't used it yet!!)

Good luck to us all!!

Well, the scale went up instead of down. Maybe I should rethink my goal. Since I have been stalled for 3 weeks, maybe I should aim for 5 pounds by Labor Day. Then again...a whoosh should be due any day now. That is about the only thing making me sane, waiting for that whoosh after 3 weeks without....

Just hang tight, something will give.....My weight stalled for 3 weeks....I mean the scale didn't move. I think the only reason it moved yesterday or by this morning, since that's when I weighted myself, was b/c I exercised.

I figured if I continue to exercise at least 3x a week,,,that 3lbx.

At least I hope so........I was about ready to eat that bun on that hamburger yesterday.

But I've gone this long, why not a little longer.

You can do it!!!!! I know you got faith!

Thank you for the support! I only wish I had found this site last year when I lost 40 pounds. Everyone is so supportive, I doubt I would have gained 20 of it back.

I do exercise, quite a bit actually. I take 2 days off a week, but I try to walk 3 miles a day and do at least 1 work out video. The Firm tapes are my favorite.

I can totally relate to wanting to eat that bun!! But as you said, after making it this far....

I wish I were 20b430!! I am more like 50b430!! Hmmm, wonder if I can make that 50b430....That may be something to aim for!

Hello to Everyone,

How's it going? I hope good. I'm still trying to get off this intense stall of mine, I lost 1 lb. Then this morning it came back I guess it was b/c I didn't exercise. My husband is constantly telling me...It takes time, but heck, I'm truly wondering how much time does it take. I told him this morning I was going back to the other diet. I did lose on that one...27lbs to be exact. But of course it took about 6 months to do!!!! Oh well......

I must keep the Faith......LCarbing will work! LCarbing will work!

MsBrisby you can do anything you set your mind to!!!!

harleydee I think I need to be more like you, and stay off that scale.....(have you weighted yourself yet?)

galxcgrl26 how's your loss coming?

maddiebehy where are you? This is your thread......We want to hear from you!

Good Luck to us LCarbers. We're Going to Hit Goal!!!!!

Me stay off a scale? That is like telling my 5 y.o. not to touch the ice cream!! I know, shame on me. I am a scale addict. Can't help it.

This weekend should be interesting. My husband races in Mandan SD so we will be gone all weekend. It is about a 6 hour drive from here and we got home at 5 am last year. His whole family goes on very little sleep, not me!! I'll be conked out on the back bed while he drives us home. Anyway, not looking forward to all that race track food and the cookouts. I have my own little suppy of lc stashed in the fridge. It's funny how stuff I love just doesn't look that good anymore. No, I take that back, it looks good, then when/if I have some, it is not at all as good as it looks. I think it is the angel on my shoulder saying "That is not good, it's garbage!"

Sorry to hear you gained your pound back. It's crazy how every little pound is so important.

Good luck to everyone!!
