You know what bugs me about these charts and guides? I don't understand how they can apply to all people. I am at 160, am 5'2" tall, and wear size 8-10. I just don't think I should be this heavy at this size. I really think there is such a thing as heavy bones. I know that sounds like a cop out, but I think I will be too small if I shoot for the high end of the range for my height, which is 134 lbs. That is 25 lbs less than I am now.
Does anybody else have an experience such as this, where your size seems disproportional to your weight?
As long as I am losing, I guess I could stick with Atkins and see how I feel if I actually reach the high end of the range for me. I am pretty happy with my size, I could be comfortable a bit smaller. As it is, my legs cross again, I can walk up hill without risking a heart attack, and my clothes fit great. I just wish the scale told me a better story.
Thanks for any wisdom anyone can provide.
