how do you know which are new journals and those that have been going for a long time, been tring to read all the journals but its taking loads of time

You can usually tell by how many posts have been made to it.

Normally when you see a journal, you'll either see the name of the journal and a #1 next to it.. or the #'s 1,2,3,4,5, etc. The more pages there are, the more activity and the longer they've been around. Journals are meant for your own personal activity (meals/workouts/etc). Things to help you keep track of your routine and get solid opinions from others on your progress.
