Default Protein Drinks?

I purchased Designer Whey Protein Supplement. Had one drink mixed with water. It states it has less than 2 grams carb per scoop (1 fiber/1 sugar), i used two scoops. That night I went negitive on my stick and even into the next day!! Could there be something else in this mix that could have caused it?

Does anyone else use a protein drink when they are in a hurry succefully? What brand?

Or are protein mixes a no no?

Thanks everyone!!

I used Designer Whey fine. I'm more likely to not trust the ketostick than to think the protein mix did it. Perhaps the vitamins and supplements in the mix affected the reading.

Not sure, but I know I love my protein powder. I would look to other culprits besides that. Or just don't trust the ketostick. They can be pretty unreliable.

Just my two cents.

Hey make it more interesting than just with water, raw "fresh egg", cream ( about 1/8 of a cup) frozen strawberries, If out of induction. plain yogurt.
I honestly don't think I could have just with water,LOL.

Just water - with about a tbsp of heavy cream. But, make sure you start with about 6 ice-cubes.

This fluffy, creamy treat makes me feel like I'm having an ice-cream shake!

Don't give up on the whey protein!

I have one almost every morning for breakfast...designer vanilla whey, two scoops in some Strawberry-kiwi crystal light and a berry or two and a tbsp of whole whipping cream in the blender. Yummmm a strawberry smoothy/milkshake. Delicious!

Smile WOW Thank you

Thanks Everyone for the great ideas for the whey protien mix!!!

I am getting tired of eggs for breakfast and I think this is the change I needed!!!

I am pulling out my blender as I type. A few ice cudes, 4 or 5 frozen strawberries, and a shot of cream!!! I think I am going to heaven!!

I will like you all know what heaven is like when I come down!!!
