Default Substitute for Potato Chips or Nachos ?

What is good and crunchy like chips and nachos?

Don't like pork rinds Sorry

I don't want fake LC foods, But creative veggie recipes or something?

Somewhere I saw a recipe on here for fried zucchini slices, but cannot find it again?

What works for you?

I don't know exactly what you are looking for, or what you want to use them with, but I finally stopped procrastinating and tried the "cheese crackers". They were good and so very easy. The recipie is under snacks...I think.

Anyway, I just halved several cheese slice and microwaved them on a plate, let them cool, and then scraped them off with a pancake flipper. I crunched them up for my taco salad (tasted sooo much like Doritos) and them I used the whole ones to dip into this awesome dill dip (Jimmy's brand). They worked wonderfully for both--and like I said, it couldn't have possibly been any easier.

Hope that helps!!!

PS I am editing this, I just looked and they are under "crispy cheese crackers". However, if you just microwave them on a plate, it works fine.

I just use pork rinds for nachos, they are pretty good. I also throw them into a taco salad, dip or whatever. Crush them up to use a breading, too.

Look under 'crispy cheese "crackers" just a few lines down from this thread. I've tried them with various cheeses-- sometimes they're wonderful, sometimes they're weird as all get-out! But always edible! Cheddar cheese makes crispy little 'cheeseits' -- fabulous! Swiss cheese either makes lacy chips or puffy crackers -- both good. Have fun. Do this on baking parchment paper, rather than on a plate -- easier to peel off! Beware, they are addictive!

I don't know if this is too late or not, but I found Soy Chips from Carbsence. after you subtract the fiber they are about 8 carbs per 15 chips. They taste pretty good, especially with guacamole.
