Thumbs up Happy!

I am so happy. I went to see my endocrinologist today and he was ecstatic with my lab work. My HbA1C was 5.8 and my thyroid is finally normal.
I told him I was on the Atkins diet and he wasn't concerned at all.
The only thing he said is to not stay on the induction diet to long, slowly increase my carb intake. He said lets keep doing what we are doing, good work! He agrees with Atkins that diabetics should not eat bread, rice and pasta. Finally some affirmation.

Thumbs up nice going

That's great news about your health Shelley .. and great to hear that you have such a "knowledgeable" doctor. It just makes life so much easier when your health team is so supportive.

Especially since it's YOU doing all the hard work!..
