Talking Mmmmm...Taco Bell

Ok, I have heard over and over from my friends that they aren't on LC because they wouldn't have anything to eat. That is just an excuse! I eat all the time! My favorite thing right now is Taco Bell Lime Steak soft taco's. I just ask for a fork and eat it out right out of the flour tortilla. I try only to go there 2 times a week, but...
Anyone else have a favorite fast food LC meal?

Default McDonalds Salads

I love the Bacon Ranch salad with "grilled" chicken. You get a choice of a chicken finger type or grilled. It is very good.

Good advice! Now I want to run to Wendy's. Do you guys know if there is such a thing as 'too much meat?' I mean, is three hamburger patties too much? I would've thought so, but if all of you are still losing weight, then why not?!

I have done the hamburger - sans bun - a few times, but the one thin burger just doesn't keep me full. The tripple just sounds soooo good. But since I've been on a plateau for almost a week, I'm nervous about trying new foods.

Thanks!

Try the Burger King "Texas Burger" -- It has two patties, cheese, bacon, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and the regular pickles, onions, mayo, etc. Ditch the buns and the rest is great.

I love the new Bistro Jack without the bun. I have taken low carb bread into Carl's Jr. and had it with the $6 burger. It was good. The only weird look I got was when I asked for the burger with no bun. I always order it that way cause I don't want the yummy cheese stuck to the bun. I have been on Atkins for 6 days... (2nd or 3rd attempt) and lost 11 pounds. I am sooooo excited!

The thing I really hate about eating out... is by the time you skip the fries and ditch the bun, there's nothing left. I usually go to McD's and eat off the dollar menu. It is the only affordable way to get multiple sandwiches. I dont know what the carb count is, but even with the breading their $1 chicken sandwich never throws me off.

There can be such a thing as too much protien which can stall some people, but they usualy are getting a ton on a regular basis. I wouldn't worry about getting a triple burger once in a while as a treat. If you do start to stall, then make them more infrequent or cut them out

If you want to keep this WOE up for life it takes experimenting and adjusting as you go. The more variety you find the more likely you are to stick to things. Even boring people like me who eat the same thing most days need an occasional break

I'm right there with sasquatch...

...I like Wendy's Triple Cheeseburger sans bun and ketchup with a side Caesar salad.

I also like gyros without the bread with a salad.

Now I'm hungry too!

Thumbs up Mmmmm...meat

My favorite thing about this WOE is all the awesome food choices. My favorite fast food choices:

Burger King - double Whopper with cheese, no bun, no ketchup, no tomato

Wendy's - classic double with cheese and bacon, no bun, no ketchup, no tomato and a side caesar salad (they put bacon on their caesar salad - yum!)

Pollo Tropical - half chicken, all white meat, with a side caesar

Cheeburger Cheeburger - The Serious (1/2 pound burger) with jalapeno jack cheese, lettuce, mayo, onions, and extra pickles

Skyline Chili - bowl of chili with cheese and sour cream

Mmmm...good thing I had a big steak with plenty of garlic butter for dinner, or I would be starving right now!

Stephanie

AHhhh!! Cheeburger!!! I get the 3/4 lb burger.. the server there, (this nice older lady) automatically asked me if i wanted it without the bun.. she totally had me figured out..! Later on I asked her what caused her to ask that, and she said, "well, you know we get a lot of people in here on that Atkins diet, and anyone that orders one of the larger burgers, i just automatically assume.." it was pretty cool..

and SKYLINE CHILI... :falling over: I love that place..!! Mmmm...
