Question Skin bumps?!!

I started the South Beach diet on July 11, and have already lost 4.5 pounds. I'm thrilled and amazed, but I've noticed something really strange. I have these small, singular bumps on my stomach, upper legs and one or two on my arms. Does this have anything to do with cutting out carbs? Has anyone else experienced this?!!

Sound like skin tags and if so, I don't believe they have anything to do with lc. Best to see your doctor or dermatologist, however.

Question nope, not skin tags

I know what those are. These are almost like whiteheads, only more inflamed (sounds gross!). They seem to be targeting the thinner, more sensitive skin (inside thighs, arms, behind knee, etc.) I don't know what hives look like, but I hope it's not that. Thanks for the reply, though.

I have heard someone meantion these bumps before, but I can not remember what there were caused from. You could try posting your question in the gerenal low carb section or the atkins section of the boards. More of the "oldtimers" hang out there. So more people will see your post.

Unhappy thanks

I will post my question to the main forum. I did go to the doc this evening and he has no idea what it is. Prescribed Pred, etc. I hate taking medicine. The only thing in my life that changed is the diet. We'll see what happens.
