Unhappy gutted

I have been doing really well on atkins, if not a bit bored being veggie. But this weekend went out and have been eating loads of carbs ever since. will try to start again morrow as I feel like I have let myself down.

Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again! Regrets are not healthy.

I don't see any weight loss on your stats. How are you getting on? Lost any weight yet?

Good luck,
Robert

Exclamation Jump back onto the Wagon - The train is leaving you behind

Hi Hawx

Sorry to hear that you have gone off the rails. As Rob has said, take a deep breath and get back to where you were. It will take a day or two to get the carbs out of your system, but then it should be business as usual.

Don't let your mind set sabotage your weight loss. You have not failed, just taken a detour and will therefore get there via a slightly longer route!

Keep us posted.

Default hi hawx

I totally understand when I read posts like yours, I too am guilty of self sabotage. sometimes I feel that my mind just won't let me do this. I struggle and struggle, get bored and then the inevitable...carb fest begins.

I don't really have any brilliant advice, just wanted to tell you that you're human and sometimes life gets in the way. just think of how you felt while on atkins and hopefully it will encourage you a little to start fresh again.

I used to be a strict vegetarian, so being on atkins is kinda hard. I only eat fish, no meats, so I too find it can get a bit boring and self destructive at times.

I'm considering changing to CAD so I'll have a little bit more variety, the only problem there is not over indulging at reward meals. have you considered that maybe.

sorry I haven't been very helpful, just someone who understands that it can get a bit hard at times.

cheers,
cathie
