I am Robert Fletcher.
I used to be obese.
I used to weigh 100 kilos.
I used to buy a kilo of cookies and eat them all in a night.
I used to check soft drinks to make sure they had sugar, not sweetener in.
I used to buy ‘light’ sunflower margarine.
I used to trim all the fat from my meat.
I used to be out of breath after climbing the stairs.
I used to take tablets for acid reflux.
I used to be bad tempered in the morning and tired in the evening.
Life used to get me down.
This is how I used to be.
I am Robert Fletcher
I am moderately overweight.
I weight 79 kilos.
I buy a kilo of cucumbers, a large lettuce, and a pack of celery and eat them in a week.
I check soft drinks and everything else to make sure they don’t have sugar.
I buy unsalted butter and full fat cheese.
I buy cuts of meat with fat on them – and eat it.
I can trot up the stairs two at a time and I’m not out of breath.
I no longer have acid reflux and I no longer take the tablets.
I am lively and happy and the mornings and my energy levels are constant all day.
I am a much happier person and I cope with life’s challenges.
This is how I am.
