Default A question about fruit

I want to be sure I understand about fruit. If its 2 hours after a meal, lets say 3pm, or a few hours after dinner, I can have an orange, or an apple, or other acceptable fruit as a snack?
After the strict limitations of Atkins, a piece of fruit sounds sooo good!

Well they recommend you eat fruit a half hour before a meal and 2 hours after a meal. This is because your body can digest fruit quickly but if there is food in your stomach it slows the fruit being digested so it has time to ferment in your stomach thus causing gas or bloating.
