Hey Rick: I use the same recipe except I thought it was very "stiff" jello...so, I cut back to ONE pkt of Knox and it works GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best to all;

Or you can buy sugar free jello pudding. It's a life saver on Induction!

Great ideas, Rick in Tn and Jake in NY !!

You can also reserve about one glass of the liquid before it sets. Put both in the fridge and after about a half hour, add a little whip cream liquid, a couple pkts of splenda and whip. Put it on top of the larger set portion. Let set. Great for lunches and school field trips.

Yes, DO watch the aspartame. Especially on induction. The closer you stay to the plan for the 1st 2 weeks, the more you'll see (or less, however you look at it). LOL

Aspartame has a tendancy to stall some people. Especially yours truly!

I found the sugar free kool-aid has aspartame in it as well, just bought a package yesterday.

I made the gelatin anyways, but haven't touched it yet.

I was going to get some sf pudding for hubby as he doesn't seem to have a problem with aspartame and eats it in the sf jello from time to time, but it occurred to me that it was probably made with milk products, so I passed on it without ever checking the carb count. Is the pudding made with milk products?

Seems to me there should be a way to make a sf pudding homemade. I used to make homemade pudding all the time. Instead of sugar, couldn't we use the granulated splenda and instead of milk, use watered down cream? Hmmmm...has anyone experimented with this and figured out the carb count? Nestle's cocoa is pretty low in carbs. Of course there is the corn starch...but couldn't you use Thick n' Thin Not Starch or whatever that stuff is called?

Sugar free koolaid has asperteme, but unsweetened koolaid has no sweetners at all. It's the kind we used to dump 2 cups of sugar in as kids. I feel my teeth rotting just remembering it.
