I also didn't see Roast Beef under Fitday's lunchmeat section, but I did see roast beef sandwiches. All of the items in that subcategory include the following ingredient:

Beef, rib, whole (ribs 6-12), separable lean only, trimmed to 1/4" fat, choice, cooked, roasted

This lists as 0 carbs for 1 lb, so theoretically you should be in the clear.

Next time you're at the deli counter try peeking at the wrapped meat's label. I found a couple brands, whose names' elude me, contain some sugars and carbs; not all that much, but something that you might want to be aware of...

mmm...roast beef
enjoy!

If you ask the deli clerk they will often let you see the package for nutrician info, or print out a list of ingredients.

I saw the most yummy looking roast chicken at a deli here, byt when I got printout sugar was like 3rd ingredient in the coating used.

I believe there is an entry in Fitday for roast beef (at least it's what I've used).

>> Beef, sliced, prepackaged or deli, luncheon meet

It has about 1.6 g carbs per 1oz slice.

Agreed! Turkey or chicken breast seems to be the only deli meat that have 0 carbs. Even deli ham has carbs, though typically not many (>1g / 1oz slice usually, unless it's honey ham or something). Deli roast beef is much higher in the carbs for some reason.
