Don't think you are too bossy at all
I agree with your statement. However, the reason I made it was for a little snack before bed since I was a little hungry. I am not one to eat sweets. Before my new WOE, we would make a cake or by a cake and have to throw 3/4 of it away. Sweets have never really appealed to me.
But, if someone had a problems with sweets, I would agree 200% with ya
