Default Eas Carb Control Drinks

Just have to say these are really thick and tasty, not high in fat so add a splash of cream to them, makes them creamier too. if your craving chocholate milk like I am, this will do the trick, and its full of protein.

Sez 4 grams of carbs, minus 2 for fibre, 2 net carns, very worth it , cheapest at walmart, shoppers drug mart is $4 more...

great when your in a pinch and ghave no food to eat, put in freezer for 1 hour fist, better freezing cold.

I am hooked now, try to have one every few days, not every day,. best on weekends when I forget to eat as too busy with house stuff/gardening.

I buy the EAS Advant Edge milk shakes I buy them in Kroger grocery store in the health food section. I have had vanilla and chocolate. I really like them, I take them to work .When I get hungry , it really takes the Edge off . I think my shakes say 2 grams of carbs and there are two grams of fiber ,so I count it as zero . I have had 8 all together since I started induction 12 days ago.

How do they compare to the Atkins shakes . My only experience with the EAS was with a coworker that was having one for lunch and I noticed that it had a really strong, unpleasant odor. She was having the chocolate one.

I drink them all the time. I think they are great. Mine say 2 total carbs, with 2 grams of fiber.....zero carbs?! I actually found a large 12 pack of them at BJ's wholesale for $13. Pretty good price compared to 4 for $9.99 of the Atkins drink.

I also like them. I think it's a good idea to drink them freezing cold, too. They are rich tasting, but good.

Thumbs up

I love these shakes and find them better than Atkins' and cheaper. The Chocolate Fudge and French Vanilla are my favorites!

Are they better than the EAS bars? I tried several different EAS bars when I first started Atkins and couldn't even swallow the first bite. Tasted like I had bitten into a vitamin or something. NONE of my children would eat them either...lol...and that's saying something because one of them will eat anything!

I like the Atkins shakes, but after experiencing the EAS bars, I'm reluctant to try EAS shakes.

Everyone's tastes must be different, because I didn't like the EAS vanilla I tried at all. It wasn't thick, creamy, or good. I found it tasted like watered down skim milk. I much prefer the Atkins Brand personally. I wish I did like the EAS as they're cheaper & never seem to be out of stock. I did find they worked well for making low carb pudding though. I think they pre subtract the 2g fiber, so it really contains 2g net carbs at least that's what it said under the ingredients.
God Bless,
Amy-Lynne

Count me in for the EAS shakes, they are creamier and much more tasty. I did not like the Atkins shakes.

Right STALLQUEEN. I get the Eas low carb shake, 2 carbs a shake and 2 fiber making it 0 carbs. I have not tried putting them in the freezer for 1 hour first but just might do that this weekend.

Just so you know the EAS are not carb free, it says right on the boxes under the ingredients list: "Dietary fiber is included in the total calorie count but is NOT included as carbohydrate." They've already subtracted the fiber for you in the total carb count, so 2g is the net carbs not zero. Just wanted you to know so you could accurately count your carbs, & not have them sneak up on you.
