Thumbs up Memorial Day Restart!!

Well...after losing 89 pounds 2 years ago and then gaining it all back plus some during pregnancy, and then losing almost 70 pounds - I have gained back 30. CRIPES!!!
So here I am to put this trend to a screeching halt before it gets out of hand again. I must plan - go to the store and buy all the things I need and have them on hand so I am not tempted by things I shouldn't have...during a weak moment when hunger strikes and I am too lazy to cook.
I am going to have a last carb blow out weekend and start anew on Tuesday the 27 of May - 2003.
ANYBODY CARE TO JOIN ME?

Try not to "blow out" too much, it will make induction all the more trying. Have a great weekend and look forward to hearing from you next week.

GREAT PLAN!!!!!!!!

Good luck to you, I'm making extra food, so I dont eat anything illegal. You have lost quite a few lbs in the past, maybe you can give me some insight, and I can help you too. I have been there too, lost some and gained some plus more. Been there done that, and now I'm determined to do this. Hope I can visit you and we can help each other out. Have a GREAT WEEKEND!!!!
Talk to you later, come visit me anytime. Look forward to hearing from you.

HI EVERYBODY! Great to hear from you!

Vicki - Life has been a daily blowout for months so I'm not really having a HUGE deal - probably just a bun and some beer. My biggest hurdle will be trying to stick to it with all the stress I am under (which is the reason I strayed in the first place).... another time.

Stacy - Good luck to you too! Try to keep on track if you are already on your way! Have lots of LC snacks around for you to munch on while everybody else is digging into the potato salad and chips!

Shannon - That sounds like a great plan - and I'll come visit!

Hi Scootergirl,

I too am starting fresh, although this is only my 5th week. I just have a new attitude towards this WOE now.

I realize that counting calories is important, along with having alcohol occasionally instead of 3 nights a week, and also LC Candies.

So I too feel like I am making a fresh start today.

Oh yeah I intend on doing sit-ups everyother day. Since I don't have time to do them at the gym, I have been skipping them. I used to do them in the evenings after dinner, so I'm going to start that trend again.

Good luck all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wee

WEE!!!

I had a deal with myself that I'd do my exercises whenever I watched a basketball game - I need to find something like that again!
Thanks for being there and good luck! Hurray for your new attitude!!

i did pretty good over the weekend. i had a few slip ups but nothing really major. my sis n law was real good, she tried to cook things that i could eat. she thought you could only eat boiled eggs and i got up for breakfast and here she was boiling me 2 eggs to eat. i came home 2 pounds less than when i left. i have done real good today i am just still having trouble getting in enough calories but im working on it.

glad you got started back today, good luck.

Talking Also retooling

Wee One,
I'm in exactly the same boat. I go to the gym before work, so I've been consistantly running late and skipping abs. I'm thinking of doing them every night as soon as I get home from work, (which will also inhibit snacking.) I'm also going to start counting calories, and try to cut the drinking back to 2x/ week, tops. (I think that's my biggest obstacle.) Good luck. Let me know how you do!

I have the SAME problem.
I adore a cocktail. I have to be really careful.
