Question A whoosh but why?

Can anyone give me some insight?

I have been stalled losing and gaining the same 3 lbs for 3 weeks now.

I have not cheated, until yesterday. I ate about 45 carbs worth of peanut butter (my weakness) and wooshed 3.5 lbs overnight.

Was it the fat? I am thinking yes, it was. But does anyone else have any ideas?

Maybe your body was just ready to let some fat or water go. We often make cause and effect connections that are not really valid in an effort to understand what is happenning to our bodies. i.e. the effect of what you do one day does not necessarily show up as the proximate cause the very next day.

It could be that you are not getting enought fats in your diet. There for your body is holding onto what you have. I know it doesn't seem logical . I try to make sure that my fat intake is in the 65 to 70% range when tacking it on Fitday.com . I seem to lose good at this ratio, and slow down greatly when not.

Default Thanks!

I agree with you Mary. When I was losing about 2 -3 lbs a week my fat intake was much higher than it is now. I am consciously going to be adding much more fat. I had bacon for breakfast today. I have not eaten bacon for weeks...this was my hint!

Unhappy *******CRY******

The whoosh didn't last! CRY! I was down to 228 and then, again, overnight I gained back 4 lbs. I thought maybe it was TOM but that was a week ago and TOM has not yet started. I am following the program. This is going on 6 weeks now. I am very depressed...

Default Dominos Pizza

Well..I decided to do what I did last time I hit a plateau. I ate Dominos Pizza, Breadsticks and Cinnamon Sticks. I also drank an entire 2 litre of Coke.

I gained 1 lb so far since yesterday's planned cheat. Hopefully, going back on induction will kick-start things all over. Wish me luck.
