Unhappy is it just me??

It takes me about a month to lose 1 to 2 lbs. For 3 weeks Ill get on the scale and it doesn't budge then on week 4 it moves 1 to 2 lbs. I don't go to the gym but I work with my dogs daily, (traning for agility & obedience) so I think I'm fairly active. I keep my carbs under 30 and drink lots of water.

I hope this is normal and I hope it keeps up, I worry that'll just stop coming off!

Hello Pascale!

First I would like to say... lucky you living in the Yukon! That has always been my dream!

I have the same problem as you. For the most part I stick to my 20 carbs per day... I've fallen a couple times.... I work out everyday and run at least three times a week. But the scale just doesn't want to budge. I'll drop a pound or so every couple weeks. Frustrating isn't it?

The only upside here as that I do believe parts are shifting... ya know... fighting gravity and all.

Have you noticed your clothes fitting better? Mine are. Do you feel better?

Not much help, but at least you know you aren't the only one.

Linnea

Yep, it is normal. You may have months where you lose more or lose less. Think of it this way - the slower it comes off, the more likely it is that you will keep it off!

Hi!

It's perfectly normal! After losing lots of water weight in the beginning we lose fat and it does not happen fast. But it works!
I had a period of 8 weeks with no weight loss (lost lots of inches) and after that I've lost weight again.
Just be patient - this is working! You are doing just fine and you will reach your goal.

Best of luck!

Alina

Thanks
Glad to hear it's normal I hope that it'll stay off that way.

I want to go back to the weight I was when I moved here in 1995, I was 155/160 and wearing a size 11/12, I'm 5'10". My friends & co-workers are amazed at the difference since I started Atkins.
The Jeans I was wearing when I started (size 18) they rre WAY TOO BIG and My jeans now (size 16) are really loose in the bum & thighs. I've lost tons around middle too. a friend of mine out it in perspective and said just picture a pound of buuter and how big that is nopw put 15 of those together and that's what I've lost so far. Pretty amazing.

I trully think that LC is not a temporary solution but it's a way of life.

My DH is also LCing and has lost about 20 lbs.

I drink so much water I'm afraid I'll drown LOL!

I'm not strugling at all with this plan, I was just wondering.
I know that the slower it comes off the longer it'll stay off.
