Default 2 milestones passed.

Thanks for all your support and encouragement about the gym. I went down at 6am this morning for my first session. I weighed myself before I went and I've (FINALLY after 6 weeks) lost my first 10lb. We use kg in NZ, but when I was growing up we used stones so I've hit 240lb dropped below 110 kg and only 2lb to go till I get to 17st. So lots of mini goals to choose from.
Gym was great except I don't fit on the *** comfy bike. What do you call those ones with the seat with the back that looks like a chair. Anyway I've got really short legs and by the time I could get close enough to reach the furthest away pedal, I couldn't get my other leg up close enough to my body to put it on the closest pedal. So I had to go on the upright bike. Everyone was really nice and helpful and I had a great time. Back again tomorrow.
Feeling v/proud of myself.

Hi Feather

Great news on 10 pounds gone.

I'll go for 17 stone as the mini goal, being in the UK!

I think it is a recumbant bike that you are referring to. Glad you found bits to do at the gym. I can so relate to your problems that you had with the bike. Being even smaller I am not tall enough to get on them in the first place!

Keep at it and may it not be long before the next 10 pounds has gone.

Congratulations on the loss of 10 pounds and also on going to the gym!

I have found that regular exercise is really important for keeping my weight loss moving.

Congradulations on the weight loss and for getting out to the gym, and trying different bikes etc. You will soon fit quite nicely in the reclining bike...no problem.
Take care...

Talking You DID it!!!!

Wow! That is wonderful news! You will find that exercise will really boost your metabolism. It did for me. I was such a couch potato before and when I started exercising the lbs started melting off.

I went from a tight size 22 to a 14 in 4 months. Exercise was the key.

I am so glad that you have made it to a goal. I am looking forward to seeing you reach many more!

Be blessed,
Tanya
