Default Adrenalin?

Can someone answer this?
I have noticed that after my morning workout - run, weight training,- when I eat a protein breakfast and no carbs I experience an adrenalin rush all morning. I feel very uptight and anxious. Is this caused by my intake of protein...or..am I just a basket of nerves?!
Thanks for your help!

FYI breakfast is usually eggs, plus extra whites, and maybe some baked chicken - 3oz or a protein shake to fill me up - no sweetener though.

Usually if your blood sugar falls suddenly or just gets a bit low your body releases adrenaline to try to raise your blood sugar. I've found when I eat protein it can take an hour or so to get back to normal but if I throw in a few carbs, something like a couple strawberries I'll feel better a lot faster.

Default Thank you!

Thanks for your reply!
I did have a smal salad after the workout with some protein and the symptoms seemed to subside. Later I had plain protein and I am very tense again! You are right - some carbs are necessary early in my day.
Thanks again!
