Default Hey all you water bottle users out there!

This story was on my local news last night. Thought I'd pass it along to you all my low carb friends. They( a science lab) tested reused water bottles and found all kinds of cooties. So wash with soap and rinse often, if you are one to refill your water bottles during the day.

Here's the link hope it works!
Happy Tuesday Ellen

The important thing is to wash in hot soapy water (or in the dishwasher) the bottle each and every day. I use disposable bottled water so this never occurs for me. Granted, I do drink the same water bottle all day at work (refilling) but when the day is thru - -out in the trash with the bottle.

My husband swears he fell ill after drinking out of a water bottle that had been sitting in the vehicle a few days. Dummy, I say!

Unhappy All I was thinking was...

There is no recycling in my area so I guess I'm back to something else. My water bottle was sooo useful. Though I've been doing this for two years. I change my water bottles weekly and I haven't been sick that often. I will have to wash my water bottle by hand... no dishwasher.

Post Guilty As Charged

Ok so they found me out. Hook. line, and sinker. That would be me, but I don't use tap water I use Sparkletts Spring Water to refill. Either way, I'm gonna go dump it now and wash my bottle. I usually just rinse it and wipe off the top. Hot water here I come.

Thanks for the info.

GeeGee
