Default Glutamine Question

I’ve learned a lot from reading these threads, and people’s journals as well. I am going to try to incorporate some of what I’ve seen here into my routine, such as working out on an empty stomach. (In the Zone, it is suggested you take a one block meal 30 to 35 min. before exercise.) I’m also looking at BFL to see if I can do it at home, and in the Zone.

Question tho: Glutamine is discussed in several threads -- I’ve seen suggestions to take it before working out, after working out, and before bed. (I’m assuming “Glutamine” and “L-Glutamine” are the same thing.) Is it safe, or even worthwhile, to take it at ALL these times? I’m concerned that I’ll need something in the a.m. if I don’t eat my one block zone meal as soon as I get up, but I also want to have the benefits of glutamine after working out.

Also, I was looking at the ingredients in Keto Shakes, and it lists “Glutamine peptides.” Is this the same as “L-Glutamine?”

Thanks for your feedback, everyone.
