Question LETTUCE, how do you mesure it?

How do you measure your lettuce? In Fitday it says 2 cups = 2.69 carbs, do you take away the fiber? And how much is 2 cups? Do you push the lettuce to fit inside the cup or just let the pieces of lettuce be?, because is almost nothing of lettuce for 3g of carbs, how can you guys make 2 salads a day?, do you have a stander way of knowing how much lettuce?.
