Question Help: whatsup with Cheese?

While I have loosely done a low-carb diet before and lost weight, I have just now begun the Atkins diet and have read the book cover to cover.

I am wondering why cheese is limited....and why it is recommended that you cut it out of the diet if you're having trouble losing fat. It doesn't have much carb......so whatsup? does anyone know why?

Thanks so much.......

Louisa
