Default Creaky's Exercise Log

Starting to log my exercise today. My journal is at: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=22066.
Food journal is at Food journal at FitDay: http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/Public...ner=creakinator

I want to keep track of what I'm doing exercise wise. This is what I plan to do:

Monday - Weight training - Round 1 - at the gym
Tuesday - kickboxing class
Wednesday - walk. I have my TOPS meeting so don't have time to do exercise in evening
Thursday - Kickboxing class
Friday - Weight training - Round 1 - at the gym
Saturday - Sword fighting class and walk
Sunday - walks with my dogs.

I will try to walk at breaks at work. I will also walk my dogs when I get home each night. The dogs love to walk. We do about a 1.5 miles when we walk.

I bought a stretching book from elasticsteel.com and plan to do that at lunch each day. The program has lots of stretches as is to help martial artists with flexibility.

Round 1 training is:
Bench press 10 pound dumbbells 25x2
Lat pulldown 40 pounds 25x2
Bicep curl - bar only 25x2
Tricep pushdown - 20 25x2
shoulder press (?) - 5 lbs 25x2
crunches 50

Kickboxing class today. Feels so good to do this. 1 hour class - some technique but a lot of conditioning. I push my self further in the class than I would push myself by myself. By myself I'd say "i can only do 7 men's type pushpups." but in class I'll do all 10 pushups.

I enjoy the class as the instructor treats the women the same way he treats the males and pushes all of us the same.

No walking or stretching. I need to realize that myself is more important that getting my damn work done at work. I should NOT, repeat NOT, sacrifice my lunches and breaks so I can get more work done. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Round 1 weight program

20 mins on treadmill
10 mins on stationary recumbent bike.

Bike on random hills gave me a better workout than the treadmill but I think it's important for me to walk on my recovering ankle

Swordfighting class today. Feel more relaxed doing it. Great bunch of people to do it with.

Pulled out my rebounder/mini trampoline as I want to use it to get ankle in better shape and start to jump as the kickboxing instructor has use jump rope at beginning at bounce on feet while working out. I can't do either right now.

Catching up on my exercise journal so here's a few days to catch up.

Sept 24: Walked puppies twice today. Puppies are a large female German shephard and a medium sized Catahoula Lepard male. Both love their walks. Zedd, the catahoula, will start to beg for it on the weekends and when I come home from work. When he gets that way, it's either take them for a walk or be pestered to death.

Sept 25: Weight training Round 1 x 3 for each exercise. Round 1 x 3; 20 min run/walk on treadmill, 10 mins exercise bike random hills level 4

Sept 26: Kickboxing class (was called out to clan lab later that night for 3 hours not really exercise)

Sept 27: None

Sept 28: Kickboxing class and 1/2 hour bag work

Sept 29: Round 1 x 3; 20 min jog/walk on treadmill, 10 mins exercise bike random hills level 4

Kickboxing
1/2 hour bag work

Lots of sweat coming off of me.

The instructor tested us on how many pushups, situps and squats we could do per minute:
Pushups 27 men style pushups !! (I could barely do 4 a few months ago)
Situps 38 - full situps
Squats 50

I could do as many as others in the class - pretty darn good recovery for being out for 8 weeks from last week of June to first week of August!

Sunday - sword fighting class. No other exercise as ankle was very sore after class. Decided it was better to stay off of it. Puppies were dissapointed with no walk.

Monday - Round 1 x 2; Round 2 x 3
30 min treadmill - 5 min warm up, 3 min jog, 2 min walk for 25 mins. The 3 mins isn't causing me to be out of breath, so cardio wise I know I could go farther, but need to let my ankle get used to this.

Walk with puppies in evening
