I haven't really been trying anything - just trying not to go crazy with food and carbs... trying not to kill everyone in my life with my mood swings during pms! I just try to keep up what I normally do - lots of water (gallon+), maintain exercise, vitamins and supps... I do eat more food - allow more treats, for example low carb cocoa, etc. I've been looking into herbal remedies for pms but haven't bought anything yet... I'll talk to more women first and get some ideas/experiences. I get it really bad so it's definitely something I'm not going to give up looking into. I'll let you know if I come up with anything good.

take care!
Meg

Hi! I hear you on the PMS problems. In fact, that's the whole reason I started low carbing. My hormones were royally messed up from birth control. (Are you on the pill, by some chance?)

LCing solved the problem, but not until *after* a couple of clean months. There's no easy way to make it through PMS, except persistance. Just try to keep yourself as well prepared as you can, and don't be afraid to increase your carbs a TAD, and keep it legal. Maybe some strawberries, yogurt, or something else that won't raise your blood sugar too drastically.

HTH. Best of luck! It's time to get started on a clean month!

You are getting enough calories right? I know if I ever have less than 1100 I feel absolutley terrible. Also, go and have your Doctor check your thyroid. That can make you tired and out of sorts.

I'm with Iluv2cook. Maybe you need to up your carb intake. I didn't notice where you stated your daily intake.

The extra vitamins and nutrients that come from adding more healthy veggies could help with lots of problems.
