Question FitDay- carb-fiber

do you all customize all your frequent foods to reflect net carbs as it does not seem FitDay shows fiber, alcohols etc on their totals for day's count?

thank you, julienne

hi Julienne,

While the "Today's Foods" list does not indicate fiber nor alcohol, the "Calories Eaten Today" chart at the top DOES show fiber and alcohol grams. Fitday subtracts fiber before calculating the calories in your menu.

So, there shouldn't be a need to customize foods to net carbs.

hth,

Doreen

Default I never noticed that!

I never noticed that. I was making custom foods to adjust the Today's Food totals so I didn't have to keep looking up the fiber counts and doing the subtraction by hand.

Thanks for the tip!

I can see the pie chart as doing subtraction, but if you are needing to keep a carb count and eating nuts and veg for example then it is going to be misleading,

your daily carb count could be 50 but subtracting for fiber could be really 20,
