On Fox News Sunday Dr. Isadore Rosenfeld was asked what he thought of the three recent studies that show the Atkins diet may not be bad for our heath. He responded and I paraphrase “the only thing consistent about Atkins is that he keeps selling books” and then he goes on to say that when one of his patents insists on going on the Atkins diet he prescribes a statin drug to combat the detrimental effects of the diet. Then he said that since the studies only lasted six months then you should only stay on the Atkins diet for six months as if the benefits of the diet suddenly stop. The lack of logic boggles my mind.

Thanks for that report. I've never found him impressive. That just sealed it.
