Default Looking for Mini-Me!

I decided a gym log would be a good plan...since part of my personal makeover is to become more physically active and be accountable for my choices.

Some current goals:
TDC Walks Toward Spring Challenge: 26 miles walking by March 21...7.5mi
Walk 1 mile in under 20 minutes: currently slightly over 22 minutes
Swim 2-3 times a week: 5 mile goal--can't start this one without swimsuit...hopefully this will arrive next week.
Our rec center/gym offers the services of a personal trainer...I need to make an appointment to talk to her about some weight training.
Exercise 5-6 times a week...get full use of my gym card
Learn more about Exercise and it's effect on the body

Today I walked 2 miles: 1.25 on the treadmill, alternating speed between 2.5 and 3. Then 0.75 miles around the indoor track.

Tomorrow's goal: a little work on recumbent bike and at least 1 mile of walking.

I didn't make it to the gym yesterday...I was exhausted and actually asleep by 7 pm. Today I walked 3/4 mile with Moogie.

Tomorrow...walk 1-3 miles and *play* on at least one other piece of gym equipment.

It has been an awful week!!!! PERIOD!!!!

I haven't forgotten you are here, gym log, or that I need to get my butt moving...It has just been evil, depressing, and energy draining...I'm soooo happy Jason will no longer be part of my life.

Yesterday I did go to the rec center with Moogie..Walked 1/4 mile and did the elliptical 1/4 mile. Not much...but I haven't been sleeping or eating well, and I was so tired when we left...Moogie and I were both concerned I wouldn't be able to drive!!

Right now my fitness/gym goal consists of making it to the gym tomorrow to do something Not very definite or focused...but it is a start.

I finally dragged myself back to the gym and I did 1.5 miles on the treadmill and .5 miles on the elliptical. I went at lunch. Now I'm so tired I can't keep my eyes open.

I need to be more regular about this.....and get some muscle strengthening in too. And where the ****$**#** is the swimsuit I ordered...'cause it ain't here I guess I need to follow up on that too!

I'm so glad to finally be able to tell my gym log that I've done something more than be lazy

Default A Personal Best Day in Exercise

Today I did a total of 2.75 miles:

1 mile on the treadmill
1 mile on the indoor track
0.75 miles on the elliptical.

I also did 4 minutes...2 minutes at a time....on the rower. That used some different muscles!!!

Tomorrow...walk at least one mile and call about my swimsuit.

Ok--I've not been to the gym or exercising or anything other than some very minor stretching exercises...can we say LAZY

Today I made it to the gym:
1 mile on treadmill alternating incline between 1 and 0
3.5 miles on the recumbent bike

I had to stop as one of my knees was making itself very clear...it hadn't worked that hard for a long time and it was not happy

Go Mercy, Go Mercy!!! Look at you and your gym log!!! I exercise every day now, except Sunday's that's my day off (not from diet though).

I really feel lost if I don't get my exercise in first thing every day now. I really enjoy it and it's only 48 minutes long. I have 2 aerobics class at night thru the week, but I still do my exercise on those mornings too. It's habit now because I have done it for so long.

I never would have thought I would be exercising, dieting and not smoking/drinking!!! Ok, what aliens have invaded my body and what have they done with the old me? Personally, I hope they keep me. I LOVE the "new" me!!!

Have a great evening hon....

Linda

I just noticed you had a gym log, I started my own gym log after the TDC Walk to Spring Challenge ended. Then I jumped to the M&E thread and saw your post. LOL! Great minds think alike!

Have a great day!
