Default Lactitol, Malitol, anyone know much about these?

Well my search for gummy worms took me to the bulk barn today

i found some sugar free candies and all were sweetened using these 2 sweeteners, and some just listed sugar alcohols

BTW no gummy worms were found this trip

so i wanted to know have uguys had these sweeteners, and also what would u bake with, is stevia a good sub for sugar?

i also bought almond flour, anyone have any ideas what to make with it?

Hello. How about experimenting with the word "Search" in the green stripe up top to look for what you are interested in? It's much faster to get answers that way and no one has to type it all out for you.

Most newbie questions have been asked and answered in various threads around the board.

For Sugar Alcohols, go up to the word "Tips" in the green stripe & click on it. Scroll down to Sweeteners and read all about them.

In addition, look way down at the bottom of the page. The board has already listed some threads that seem similar to your questions. It's on every page.

Shiner,

The almond flour can be used to make almond pound cake--recipe in the recipe section, I replace the lemon extract with almond extract and it is delicious!

There is also a recipe for almond-flour brownies which sound great but I haven't tried making them.
