Default SF FiberChoice

I bought some SF FiberChoice supplements to up my fiber and help reduce my cholesterol. My question is this. I tried to enter the nutrition facts into Fitday and it keeps giving me an error.


The bottle says it has 16 cals. 4g carb and 4 g soluble fiber. Does it really have 8 carbs? That's the only way it will let me enter it in Fitday. Do you think it's worth 4 carbs a day to get this little bit of fiber? If not, what else can I try? I really feel like I should be getting more. I'm only averaging about 7g of fiber a day. RDA is something like 25-30. Yikes! What's a body to do?

I use flax for my fiber. I add ground flax meal to my shakes. I also eat flax cereal for breakfast. Remember 25 grams of fiber is the whole day including veggies and all. If you use fitday it will tell you the amount of fiber you eat daily from the foods and things you enter

I'm not sure why fitday gave you an error but each gram of carb has 4 calories, so by simple math (4 carbs x 4 grams = 16 calories. So, 4 grams is correct.
