Default tablespoon volume

Just a quick question: wondering how much a 'tablespoon' is by volume. On my (UK) measuring spoons, the tablespoon says '15ml' on it. Is this the same for the US? Thanks

Yes, a US Tablespoon is 15 ml ... or 3 teaspoons (5 ml each)

I believe the major difference in Tablespoon measure is for our friends in Australia/New Zealand, where a Tablespoon is 20 ml (4 tsp).

There are two sites that I've found with useful conversion charts:
Both of these sites includes conversions to and from USA, UK and Australian measures.
