Default can't sleep for 3 days

I started CC 10 days or so ago, last week I slept like a baby... but this week since Saturday night I have twitched and turned and been wide awake all day and night, I am currently running on 3 hours sleep since Saturday but yet still functioning ok and although I loook a bit crap feel ok?

Just wondered if anyone else had suffered liek thsi and whether it would go away on its own or not?

Thanks
Sarah

Thumbs down Sleeplessness

Hi Sarah

I certainly noted quite early on that I needed less sleep on the low carb way of life. Once or twice I have experienced days of disturbed sleep, unusual for me, have no idea what caused it, but it went away on its own. Perhaps your body is just more alert, or it may be worried about something. Just carry on and if you are eating OK then you should find that your old sleep patterns return soon.

Thanks Anne,

Yes I will keep up what I am doing, I know that I am not eating quite enough calories which I am trying to remedy, plus I don't usually sleep more than 6 hours a night anyway so maybe you are right and that I just don't need that many anymore!

Just means more time to work and do other stuff

Thank you
Sarah
