Talking It's melting off now....

I was down another 2 lbs this morning. It's about time! I've been lower every morning on the scale for the last 3 days in a row. 6 1/2 gone now! At 10 I get to go out to Red Lobster - yummy! From where I started it's actually 5 1/2 lbs, but I gained one at the beginning of induction, so I say 6 1/2 - so there! WOW! I LOVE THIS WOE!

Default Will that blow it?

Farmgirl, Will going to Red Lobster blow it for you? Is there something else that could be your reward besides food? Just a question. I used to reward myself with food (which, for me, was a serious slide). Maybe you have lots of willpower, I didn't. (Note past tense, now I have improved in the mind-strength game, but I cannot any longer view food as a reward -- I know my weakness there).

Congratulations on your loss, and continued good luck.

Default Red Lobster

I know food isn't supposed to be a reward, but up here in Illinois the seafood selection STINKS and I love seafood....I simply want crab legs or lobster. I completely won't blow it there - it's a safe place for me! No garlic cheese rolls, don't worry!!!

I think that Red Lobster is a great place to eat on this WOE. There are lots of low carb choices and I tell them not to bring the cheese rolls.

Good answer, Farmgirl!! Now I don't have to worry about you. I didn't realize Red Lobster had such great choices -- I used to live in Florida and ate lots of seafood, but at more "locally-caught" places. Will have to try Red Lobster.

Have a GREAT time!

nothing like seafood on this atkins diet. crab legs dipped in butter are not an issue. enjoy. shrimp scampi. not an issue. Red Lobster is a great reward. you already know about the garlic rolls, but how about a nice salad with bleu cheese dressing. yum.
