Question Can I use this marinade????

I found this injectable marinade (Tony Chachere's) at the store yesterday - I thought it would be nice to put into a turkey for some added flavor.

I didn't notice this until I got it home though:

The ingredients are:

Water, Salt, red pepper and other spices, artificial butter flavor, xanthan gum, citric acid, modified food starch, garlic, onion, sodium benzoate, and bell pepper.

The Nutrition facts are:

Serving size: 1 Tbsp.
Calories: 0
Total Fat: 0g
Cholesterol: 0mg
Sodium: 330mg
Total Carbohydrate: 1g
Protein: 0g

I ran this all through the hidden carb count, and it came out to actual carbs: 0.00. I'm worried about the modified food startch and a couple of other ingredients...

can someone help...let me know if this will be ok? (I'm in the induction phase of the diet...so I want to make sure not to screw it up.)

Thanks as always!

You're the only one who can decide whether or not you "can" have stuff. Some people find it triggers cravings, so they avoid it and make their own marinades and dressings. If it's only one gram of carbs, though, I'd go ahead and try it. You don't have to acheive and maintain perfect ketosis to lose weight.
