Reminds me of yesterday. Was cooking for the pooch (yes, she's loved a lot) and I was going to put a little bit of pasta in her food. <<
Ear Mishinaz,, LOLOL. Man what do you cook your pooch? Whats the dogs name? f/m? I have two kitties, furfur nugen (like farfenugen..sp?) heeh and mo mo BEAR. She's a Maine coon. She looks like a white fluffy raccoon. shh. she's my favorite. hehe. I want to cook them stuff too. Did you find out if its healthy to give poochie cooked food? I think its great! You must not have kids huh? I dont. So I am just wondering because all of my friends with kids don't especially treat their pets too well in my opinion. <shrug>. Hey please respond, I really want to hear what you cooked that little monster!! :-)

Not sure if this link will work but if it does, that's my pooch. She is a little Shih Tzu.
I did some research on dog food and dog food is full of crap and garbage. (I have a link I will try to find for you, excellent information)
I divide her food in sections and freeze most of it. A meat source, carb source, fiber source and vitamins, flax seed meal, bone meal (Tums do the same thing but bone meal is better) and a few other things. I cook her meat every few weeks, put it in individual containers and freeze it. Then I just take a container from every source, nuke it and it's time for her to eat.
Tonight she is getting chicken <--Meat), Pasta <--Carbs... she gets carbs, I don't), bell peppers/celery/broccoli <--Fiber) and then her vitamins.
Yesterday she ate Chicken, hamburger with pasta sauce, rice, mixed frozen veggies, and vitamins.
Tomorrow she'll get london broil, broccoli, cauliflower, pasta, and her vitamins.
My dog had brain damage at birth (she is mentally retarded) and has a variety of medical problems. Since I have started her on this diet she is doing soooo much better but if you do this for your dog you really need to do your research and make sure you get ALL their vitamins and minerals. It isn't easy but in the case of my dog it is really paying off.
I have links that make this easier than it sounds. ;o) Feel free to email me and I will share all my links and information. ImaBeanInPhx~aol.com
The nice thing about this for most people is that they just make a little extra of whatever they are eating. She likes some spices and some she doesn't like. With time you learn all that.
Nooooo, no kids. I have a dog. ;o) Actually, I am thinking of getting a St. Bernard. Not sure if I can afford the food. When I increase the above recipes for a St. Bernard size 160 pounds vs. my 8 pound Shih Tzu... holy crap that's a loooootta food! ;o)
