I actually tried to send you a PM - but kept getting told my message was too long - even so I had cut it to 734 characters per my Word. If I cut any more, I lose my message, so I'll post it here. Probably not a bad idea, since surely, you and I are not the only ones. So here is what I tried to say (putting back in what I had cut):

I'm 2" taller and 2 yrs younger - but my goal is also 140-145. I started with 170 in May 02, dropped to 162ish, and stuck - until I somehow gained 10 lbs. For ~1 yr now I must have lost 100 lbs - the same ones between 168 and 174/75 – up and down.

Bottom line, I'm not getting anywhere. Last time I posted here, someone told me that lowcarbing obvioulsy wasn't working for me and to give it up - not something I enjoyed hearing and probably the reason I have not been here much since. However, I have no intention to going back to calorie counting and being hungry, but every time I do get off the plan, I start eating everything in sight - non-stop.

My first time on Atkins in 98, I lost 30 lbs in 3 months and weighed in at 130 lbs and was able to squeeze into a size 4 - now I'm in 12s!! Unfortunately, I went back to my old ways - still did pretty good maintaining for a while, but then between quitting smoking in 2000 and turning 40 in 2001 I started balooning.

Anyway - judging by your stats and assuming you didn't just forget to update and have actually reached your goal long ago - it does help a bit to know I'm not the only one in this boat - and I just wanted to wave you a "hello".

And now that I've posted instead of sent a Private Message - I wonder who else is also in this boat?

Sounds like me, it will soon be a year for me, and all I ever lost was the inital water weight in the beginning. My weight does stay the same though, varies maybe 1-3 lbs. is all so I'll stick with this way of eating.
