Hi Leigh,

A "stick" of butter is a quarter of a pound. And as a pound is around 450 grams, a stick is between 110 and 115g. I usually call it 110.

Cheers.

Rosebud

1/4 of a U.S. pound. (2.2 U.S. pounds = 1 kilogram, in case you've already adopted metric...it's so hard to keep up!)

Hey hello glad to see you here, I just saw one of your posts from June in the maintainers thread and was wondering how it's going. By your stats it looks pretty darn good.
Cheers Kathy
P.S. there is a bit more action now in that maintainers by the way, why not swing by sometime 8>)

Hello Kathy
Thanks for the reply...Looks like you are doing ok as well. How are you getting on maintaining your weight? I do occasionally put on a couple of pounds, but as soon as i do i knuckle down and lose it again. Which is amazing...being bit of a yo yo dieter. I am pretty determined to keep it off. Yep i do need to have a look in maintenance. Think that i might just go now. Take care Leigh
