I would suggest Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution to start with. It explains everything- from what to eat, to why, to how to stick with it, and tons more. Until you get the book, I would suggets visiting the website for a list of acceptable foods for Induction and a more condensed version of rules and explanations- http://www.atkinscenter.com.
