Lightbulb Strange

After a good breakfast:

1/4 cup of Cot Cheese/1 big strawberry (early morning)

then 2 boiled eggs, 1/4 avocado, raw broc/green pepper/1 tbsp of greek dip.

I had a headache and felt whoosie all morning.

I kept thinking I just needed water, drank a ton, but only helped for a min or so. Then I had a glass of milk (2 oz cream water, 1/8 tsp of splenda), that helped for about an hour. Then back it came, so I was looking in the fridge, saw a big strawberry, downed that, Walla, headache/ whoosie gone every since.

Any ideas on what was happening??

I have increased my carbs last week to 22-25, then last night after reading the ATkins book, it explained my weak feeling, I was having going up the stairs, it said to increase the carbs a bit. So I've done that today with all my meals.

Lunch was spicy farmer sausage soup, with lots of veggies.

Snk 3/4 cup of plain Yogurt with 1/2 cup of blueberries

Dinner was a greeen salad/ jaimca/asparagus, with a turkey pattie melt.

Now, I also have just lost another 2 pounds, bringing it to 20 in just under 8 weeks.

Anyhow I'm a bit puzzled about this morning.

Hi Cathy,

I'm glad you're headache is gone and wow nice weight loss!!!

I don't have a theory as to what caused your headache - except maybe it was just a headache for no reason at all. Ocasionally I get a headache and for some reason I never bother thinking about why - I just figure I got a headache, take a couple of anacin and usually it goes away. I don't think every headache is caused by something we have or have not eaten or even for any real reason at all. But just one of those irritating little things we have to live with.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless it happens all the time.

I felt awful yesterday - same as you weak, dizzy, just awful. I also upped my carbs by 10 and almost within 1/2 hour felt better. Today I vow not to go under 21 ... so far so good.

I think you just need more carbs every so often - -maybe not every day...but once or twice a week.

There's a lot of carbs, but not much fat from what I'm reading. I'm not an expert.. but you should be consuming more fat, especially in the morning and afternoon as you need fuel to get you through the day.

I had that same thing happen to me yesterday!

I felt kinda dizzy and woozie in the morning, never happened before. By the time I got home from work I was ok but it was weird for a few hours there.

Thanks for posting everyone, yes I do think it must of been not enough carbs, my fat for that day was good, as there was a fair bit in that soup, as well as the eggs, avocado.

The other thing I'm wondering about ,is, my swiss water decaf, it seems really strong to me lately, I wonder if some regular beans got in to it??
I think I'll pass on it for a few days, as I have the same feeling again today, but every so slightly. Only had 1 cup, had 2 yesterday.

Just odd how the strawberry took care of it.
